Dr. Dimitris Batakis has obtained a PhD from the Department of Production Engineering and Management of the Technical University of Crete. His Doctoral Thesis is entitled “Medical tourism as a lever of economic growth. In addition, he holds a B.A. from the Department of Business Administration of the University of Western Attica. Furthermore, he continued his studies in the field of Health Economics and holds Master in the Health Economics and Management of the Department of Economics, Business and International Studies of the University of Piraeus. Soon he will be graduating with postgraduate diploma on the master program in International Health Policy, from the Department of Health Policy at the London School of Economics.
