Dimitris Kritas is a Political Scientist. He is a PhD candidate in Political Science, Public Policy and Administration and HRM – HRD at Department of Political Science, University of Crete, awarded for his PhD research with a scholarship of University’s Research Committee – Special Research Fund (ELKE). He holds a Master of Arts (MA) specialized in Political Analysis and Public and European Policies, and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Political Science both of them at University of Crete. As undergraduate student, he was awarded with a scholarship by the States Scholarship Foundation (IKY) for his performance at second academic year of his studies (ranked first).

He is a scientific associate – researcher of Public Policy and Administration Research Laboratory and staff member of Center for Political Research and Documentation (KEPET), which are both of them research laboratories of the Department of Political Science of University of Crete. Also, he is a scientific associate of the Laboratory of Health Economics and Management of University of Piraeus. Since 2015, he is Vice President of BofD at the Hellenic Association of Political Scientists (H.A.P.Sc. – www.hapsc.org), and before that he was Section Manager of South Greece (2015), and Special Secretary – Coordinator of Crete’s Representative (2013 – 2015).
