Dimitrios Panas is an Econometrician and Economist. He works as a Financial Risk Consultant at Systemic RM, in Athens. His main responsibilities include, among others, the analysis of business requirements and their adjustment to clients’ specific needs as well as the training of end-users of financial institutions on Systemic RM’s financial risk management software systems. Previously, he was a Trainee Researcher at the Hellenic Association of Political Scientists, where he was primarily involved in collecting and analysing data in activities related to Health Economics.
Dimitrios holds a MSc in Econometrics and Mathematical Economics from Tilburg University and a BSc in Economics from Athens University of Economics and Business. His master thesis titled “Is government spending multiplier higher in recessions? A double and triple post lasso approach”. His research interests lie in Macroeconomics, Time Series Analysis, Machine Learning, Finance and Health Economics.
