Dr. Vasilios Koutsiouris holds a PhD in Consumer Behavior in Mobile Commerce and a MSc in Information Systems from the Athens University of Economics & Business in 2009 and 2003 respectively, and a BSc in Informatics and Telecommunications from National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (2002). He is senior research officer of Laboratory of Health Economics and Management (University of Piraeus), of Interactive Marketing and Electronic Services Group of Eltrun Research Lab (Athens University of Economics and Business) and of Laboratory of New Technologies in Communication, Education and the Mass Media (National and Kapodistrian University of Athens). Among others, Dr. Koutsiouris participated in many research projects in the field of Information Systems, Health Informatics, E-Commerce, HCI, Interactive Marketing and Mobile Services. He has published over 15 research papers in academic journals and scientific conferences (e.g., International Conference on Mobile Business, Conference of European Association for Education and Research in Commercial Distribution, World Congress on Information Technology). Dr. Koutsiouris served as senior health expert in Greek National Organization for Health Care Services Provision during the implementation of 2nd Memorandum of Understanding on Specific Economic Policy Conditionality in Health Sector (2013-2015). His research areas are ICT Services in Health sector, m-Commerce, Location-based Services, Consumer Behavior, Human-Machine Interfaces and Virtual Reality. Dr. Koutsiouris is an ICT Project Manager in EU Funding Research Projects since 2010.
